Pasadena (Calif.) Maranatha quarterback Matthew Schilz has led the Minutemen to an unbeaten record in 2008 as they prep for the CIF-SS playoffs next week.
The commit to Kansas State has been solid in his return to the field after missing the majority of his junior season.
Through eight games, Schilz has thrown for 1,813 yards and 24 touchdown passes to only seven picks, and three times has thrown four touchdowns in a game. He's added three 300-yard games as well.
