One of Kentucky's top prospects gives verbal commitment to MAC program.

Grant Williams a 6-foot-4, 210-pound tight end from Ballard High School (Kentucky) has given his verbal commitment to the Akron Zips.

According to Ballard coach Mike Jackson the Zips program had everything Williams was looking for with their new stadium opening next season.

Williams also held an offer from Eastern Michigan and saw interest from several other programs.

Williams and his teammates feel this in the playoffs this weekend 37-13 against Louisville Trinity.
