Benjy Kennedy made a verbal commitment to Bowling Green because it was the perfect fit for his style of play. Urban Meyer has since left to take the head coaching job at Utah. Will Kennedy follow Meyer?

Verbally committed quarterback Benjy Kennedy visited his school and team of the future this past weekend at Bowling Green.

Kennedy was hit with the news that Falcon head coach Urban Meyer was leaving to take the head coaching job at Utah. Will he follow?

"Right now everything is up in the air." Kennedy said.

"I was called by the quarterback coach as well as the A.D. I haven't been asked to go to Utah and even if I was, I don't know if I'd go that far away from home.

"I'll probably look around a little bit now. I'll see what the interest is out there."

Kennedy, a 6-foot-2, 185-pounder, from Morris is a terrific athlete that would have been a perfect fit for the Falcon offense.
