"Overall, I thought the season was great," Ladarius Eckwood said. "I thought we could have coached and played better in the state playoffs, though."
How did the playoffs go?
"We lost in the first round to a team we were picked to beat by 35 points."
How do you feel that you contributed to your team?
"I think I helped our team tremendously in many ways this year," he shared. "My effort this year was great and I really didn't expect to have a great season stats-wise."
How did you do?
"I ended up with 108 catches, 1505 yards and 18 touchdowns."
Have colleges taken notice of your performance and if so, who has shown the most interest?
"I am getting lots of interest from Tulsa and I really feel that it would be great for me," he added. "They are on the rise and getting better every year. They run the spread and I wouldn't mind playing there."
They also have a great Offensive Coordinator, who just so happens to be from Springdale, in Coach Malzon."
Are there any other schools that are in the mix?
"North Carolina is another school that is competing now and they have a good coach in Coach Davis," Eckwood said. "He knows my Uncle Jerry who played for Arkansas as a Running Back."
"I like Coach Nutt at Ole Miss and they have a great Quarterback who can throw the ball, which I look at as a Wide Receiver.
Have you planned any visits?
"I am going to take visits to North Carolina, Ole Miss and Arkansas."
