Jamontay Pilson Talks Iron Bowl
"I went down to the Alabama-Auburn game as an unofficial visitor," said Jamontay Pilson. "I don't know what is wrong with Auburn. I think they should have played better than that. We should have scored the first two series of the game." "I think they should have played Brad Lester. They didn't even play him in the Georgia game." "Alabama did good. They were nice. I thought they played fairly well. I talked to coach [Bo] Davis and coach [Kirby] Smart. They came up saying they hoped I change my mind after this game." Pilson's mind hasn't changed, but visits are expected for the talented defender. "I am going to take my official visits," he said. "I am going to take all of them in January. I plan on going to Miami and to Alabama. I am going to go over to Ole Miss, and I am going to take one to UAB." Miami: "Miami offered me right before the start of the season. I haven't been down there before and want to check things out. I have watched them on T.V. and like what I have seen." Alabama: "Their crowd is real exciting. It's just exciting there. Everyone just gets ready for the big Iron Bowl game. It's going to be loud at both schools." Ole Miss: "They have a good team. I want to check them out." UAB: "I really don't know why I am going to check them out. I am just going to go." Pilson remains solid with the Tigers and tripped to the Plains several times this season. "I have been to a few games down there," he said. "I went to the LSU, Georgia and Tennessee-Martin game. They definitely need some improvement. I am still going to stay with them." Greenville lost in the first round of the playoffs to Briarwood Christian 15-14.
