Encino (Calif.) Crespi quarterback Bryan Bennett (6-3, 185), wrapped up his second year as the starting quarterback for the Celts.
During his 2008 junior season, Bennett was 108-for-195 for 1,622 yards and threw 10 touchdown passes to 10 picks. He also ran for 193 yards on 49 carries, with three touchdowns
As a sophomore Bennett threw for 2,133 yards and 17 touchdowns for the Celts, who finished the year ranked #5 in California. He twice threw four touchdowns in a game and had another in which he three for 388 yards. Bennett led the Celts to the CIF-SS Pac-5 finals.
At the UnderArmour/Scout.com Combine in Los Angeles, Bennett earned all-combine underclass honors.
Bennett continues to grow and has added much-needed weight. He continues to flash a good strong arm, his mobility in the pocket continues to improve and he's becoming more and more accurate. You can also see his confidence growing in his arm and his passes. He is one of the top 2010 quarterbacks in the West.
