Cumberland, Md., offensive lineman Justin Hymes missed part of his senior season with a broken bone in his foot, however he is now completely healthy and playing basketball now that the Campers were ousted from the Maryland Class A playoffs by the cross-town rival Fort Hill Sentinels. We caught up with him to see what schools are showing interest lately.

Justin Hymes, a 6-foot-5, 270-pound offensive tackle from Allegany High School is holding offers from Towson and Harvard and at this point, most of the interest he is receiving is from Ivy League programs which seems like the direction he will most likely head toward.

“I get mail from schools like Brown, Columbia, Yale, Duke, Navy and Akron on a daily basis right now,” Hymes said. “I will be visiting Brown and Yale very soon as they are the two recruiting me the hardest this point.”

“I would definitely be interested in both Duke and Navy as well, so if they step up with an offer I would want to go down and take a look at those schools. Right now it looks like I’ll be going Ivy League because it will give me a great education and the opportunity to play early, but I’m not ruling other options out.”
