Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian tight end Christopher Coyle is the latest Lions' player to be selected to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
At a ceremony at Oaks Christian on Monday, the Arizona State-commit was presented a jersey for his selection to the game, the fourth player from Oaks in its short history to be selected to the game in San Antonio.

Coyle follows Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen and USC teammates Marc Tyler and Marshall Jones in being chosen to the game from Oaks Christian, the three playing in the 2007 contest.
The #14-ranked tight end in the country by Scout.com, Coyle is part of one of the most talented crop of tight ends from the Golden State in years. He's been one of the key cogs in the Lions' 13-0 record, which has them in the CIF-SS Northwest Division Finals this weekend against Gardena Serra.
