Toler Taking Officials

Toler Taking Officials

A year ago if you would have told me that Brian Fields was not the most highly recruited player out of William Penn High School I would have said you were crazy, however defensive back Lewis Toler has now picked up yet another scholarship offer from Delaware and is planning official visits for the upcoming months.

Lewis Toler, a 5-foot-11, 170-pound cornerback from New Castle, Del., now holds written scholarship offers from Delaware, Western Michigan, VMI, Temple and Marshall and is putting together plans to start taking official visits to those schools in the near future.

"I went to my official visit at Western Michigan this weekend and really liked it a lot," Toler said. "I like how the coaches and players made me feel like I was already part of the family and kept it real with me. They also had great facilities and have a bunch of seniors leaving in the secondary, so I was told I'd have a good opportunity to play early there which I like."

"I'm taking my official visit to Marshall this weekend (12/12) and then will take one to Delaware on January 9th."

As a senior, Toler racked up 39 tackles and three interceptions on defense. He also had 375 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
