ALA All-Star: D.J. Fluker
"The week has been going pretty good so far," said D.J. Fluker. "We are starting to come together as a group. Everyone is doing really good." "I have been improving as an offensive lineman. There are a bunch of good players here. I have been impressed with a few of the tackles and ends. They have some good speed." Fluker was Alabama's first commitment for the class of 2009. "Alabama is a real good team," he said. "They played a lot of freshmen. They are very young. I was real excited about the undefeated season. It didn't surprise me at all." "Coach [Nick] Saban is a great coach. I knew he could win. I still feel very good about my commitment to Alabama. I am still going to take some visits though." "Hopefully when I get back from the U.S. Army game in San Antonio I can start taking visits. I am thinking about visiting Texas Tech, LSU, Alabama and Florida. I would say LSU is coming at me the hardest." "I have been impressed with LSU this year. They are a real good team, but they had a little bit of a down fall toward the end." When asked where he expects to sign in February, Fluker replied, "Everyone will see on signing day. I still feel real good about Alabama."
