Williams, 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds, has been talking to various coaching staffs from around the country.
"I actually lost my phone and wasn't really able to talk to anyone on it for awhile," he said. "I just got it back and I've been starting to talk to coaches again. Michigan came in and gave me a soft offer last Tuesday. They're starting to show some interest in me. A coach from Georgia came to visit me at the school recently. I talked to a coach from Delaware (Thursday). A few others have called, too."
Williams talked more about his interest in both Michigan and Georgia.
Michigan -- "They came to see me. I like them. They recruited a cousin of mine when Rich Rodriguez and those guys were at West Virginia so I guess that's how they knew about me. He's a good coach and will do a good job."
Georgia -- "They're a good team and they have a lot of great players. I've been liking them for awhile now. They came to school and we talked."
The talented receiver has not yet scheduled any official visits but plans on doing that very soon.
"We just finished our season and I got an All-Star game coming up here soon," he said of the state-wide all-star game. "I plan on taking all my visits in January. I'd definitely like to check out Michigan and Georgia but I'm not sure about everything right now. Everyone's even with me."
Williams helped lead his Chamberlain team to an 11-2 record by catching 39 passes for 843 yards and 13 touchdowns.
