"I committed to
Ole Miss tonight," added the soft spoken Korvic Neat. "I just felt the
most comfortable there on my visit. I have a good relationship with the Ole Miss
coaches,, and I like how they plan to use me in their offense."
Korvic
also had a chance to take in a couple of practices that helped influence his decision
as Ole Miss was preparing for the Cotton Bowl.
"I was really glad I
got to go to those practices. I saw how they used Dexter McCluster, and I think
we have a lot of the same attributes. Dexter and I are both small guys trying
to make it in a big man's game. I like how they design their scat backs to get
the ball in open spaces."Neat became a hot commodity after tearing it
up in the Dade/Broward surrounding area. For the season, he ran 1, 158 yards,
13 TD's on only 94 rushes and had 378 receiving yards and 5 Td's on 15 catches.
Korvic was offered by North Carolina, Rutgers, Ole
Miss, Kentucky, Iowa State, and Southern Mississippi during the later part
of the season and took visits to Ole Miss, North Carolina, and was scheduled to
visit Rutgers next weekend.
Neat will participate in the Dade/Broward County
All-Star game and has also been invited to the Under Armor All-Star game in Orlando on January 2nd.
