Canyon Country (Calif.) Canyon quarterback Jordan Adamczyk (6-2, 185), has been diligently sending his film out to a host of schools.
The Foothill League passer is hopeful the response will be good as he seeks his first offer.
“We’ve been sending out some tape to some schools, lower D-I and a couple of I-AA schools and we’ve gotten a couple replies back and some E-mails too,” said Adamczyk.
Some of those schools include Sacramento State, Idaho State, Southern Utah, Fresno State and Kansas State.
“Most of the schools said that they want to watch a little more film before making a decision,” said Adamczyk. “Northern Arizona is a school I’d be interested in. Fresno State came down to Canyon and watched me. Southern Utah is another. I’d like to take a few official visits.”
Adamczyk’s film included some from passing league and some from Foothill League action, where he had a strong senior season.
He passed for 2,622 yards and 26 touchdowns to seven picks on 173-for-280 passing. He had one game, against Chaminade, where he threw for 402 yards and five touchdowns.
While he’s hopeful for an offer to come, Adamczyk has some other options in mind.
“I’ll either walk-on or go to a JC and then transfer,” said Adamczyk.
Academically, he’s in strong shape, with a 3.2 GPA and the SAT taken this fall.
