Temple Scores Four More

Temple continues to pick up more prospects flying under the radar for their Class of 2010 and dipped into both the high school and community college ranks for their last four verbal commitments. Head Coach Al Golden has definitely started turning the corner while getting his players into the Temple system and will hope these four can impact as well.

Temple has been on a roll lately with verbal commitments, picking up eight so far in the past week that we know of including Kadeem Custis, one of the best offensive linemen in the state of Pennsylvania.

On Thursday it was announced the Owls have also landed verbal commitments from Bernard Pierce, a 6-foot, 205-pound running back from Glen Mills. Pierce rushed for 1500 yards and 26 touchdowns last season.

Kwame Johnson and Deonte Parker were also added to bolster the secondary at cornerback. Johnson is a 5-foot-11, 185-pounder from Valley Forge Military Academy and Parker is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound two-way player from Feather River Community College in California. Last but not least Marcus Green, a 6-foot-1, 225-pound middle linebacker from Scotch Plain-Fanwood High School gave his pledge to the Owls as well.
