Since Brady Hoke decided to take the San Diego State job, there have been questions about whether or not their commitments would take a look around. We caught up with Alex Andrus for his thoughts on the situation.

The news of Brady Hoke leaving Ball State for San Diego State came as a surprise to Cardinal commitment Alex Andrus. The defensive end from Coopersville (Mich.) briefly thought about his options again, but in the end, he realized where he needed to be.

"There are alot of rumors circulating about my commitment as well as other guys commitments," he said, "I'd like to state that I am a Cardinal through it all."

Not only is Andrus solidly on board, but he has taken it upon himself to make sure all the other verbal commitments the Cardinals have received remain on board as well.

"I am hoping to get a good response out of our solid recruiting class and keep us together," he said.

Andrus tore his ACL this year, but says he is well on his way to a full recovery and says he is excited to be headed to Ball State and wants all of Cardinal Nation to know that.

"I just want to clear up any rumors or reports about my position."
