According to Centennial Head Coach Jeff Measor, Scout.com's #49 Defensive End in the Country Euclid Cummings made his commitment to Georgia Tech last night.
At 6-4 and 230 pounds, Cummings plays with a blend of size and strength that makes him a versatile weapon on the defensive line. He is the type of end that can hold down blockers to free up rushing linebackers, drop into coverage in a zone blitz, and get pressure on the offensive backfield with his quickness.
Cummings' teammate David Yankey will also be a highly coveted prospect at offensive tackle for the Class of 2010.
Cummings also had offers from the likes of South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Indiana among others.
