"I
played pretty well considering I missed the first three games with a bad ankle,"
added Tahj Jones. "By the end of the season, I was my old self."
Jones
holds offers from LSU, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Arkansas, and several more but
the Tigers and Rebels were the only ones who were actively recruiting Tahj until
this week.
"TCU came by the school. Their coach told
me that he had to go back and talk to his head coach about getting me a scholarship,
but I have not heard anything yet. It should be any day."
What
does Jones know about the Hornfrogs?
"Really, I do not know anything
about them. If I go up there on a visit, I will learn more about them."
Which
visits does the Sulpur standout have lined up?
"I am going to LSU
January 16th and Ole Miss on the (January) 23rd. That is it so far."
Anymore
schools in the picture?
"That is it, basically LSU and Ole Miss. Well,
and maybe TCU."
What stands out about LSU?
"Well, basically
their staff. I like Coach Peveto. He is cool."
And Ole Miss?
"The
same thing. I am cool with Coach Dameron. We cool too."
What will
be the deciding factors between the two schools?
"Who ever can get
me on the field the quickest. That is basically what the deciding factor is going
to come down to, who ever can get me on the field the quickest."
