Scout.com was on the field for most of the first half of the Maryland Crab Bowl to get pictures of some of the players both in action and on the sidelines. In the second of a two-part photo gallery, here are some of the shots we were able to get from the game itself.
If you’d like to check out some of the pictures from the field at Johnny Unitas Stadium look below and you’ll find our second installment of live action shots and player pictures from the sidelines.
Maryland
commitment
Caleb Porzel
flips the ball to the official after scoring the game’s first touchdown on a two-yard run to put the D.C. team up 7-0 in the first quarter. He would finish the game with 40 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries and also added five receptions for 28 yards.
Brandon Killebrew
,
Darrell Givens
and
Terrence Stephens
look on as Westlake High School linebacker Evan Harris tackles Dunbar High School running back Davon Muse.
Future Maryland tight end
David Stinebaugh
looked very good all week in practices and while he will need to add some weight before he gets to the next level he’ll give the Terps a tight end that can flex out wide and create mismatches with his height during his time at College Park. He had two catches for six yards and a touchdown in the game.
Dunbar quarterback
Jonathan Perry
scrambles away from pressure and eludes Brandon Killebrew in the open field here.
Good Counsel High School linebacker
Jelani Jenkins
absolutely blows up the ball carrier, sending him off his cleats and onto the turf.
Future
Pittsburgh
safety
Carl Fleming
was the third leading tackler for the Baltimore team, registering 5.5 total tackles.
West Virginia
commitment
Terence Garvin
is congratulated after making a touchdown saving interception. Unfortunately his efforts were wasted as DeOnte Arnette picked up a safety on the next play.
Jelani Jenkins gives his seal of approval after his team’s 32-21 win before being hounded by every major media outlet in the stadium after the game.
