John Hughes had one of the best season's in the Grand Canyon State this year. Watch senior highlights of Peoria Centennial's in video brought to you exclusively by Scut.com

RB/DB/Return man John Hughes from Peoria (Az.) Centennial had one of the most impressive stat lines in the state.

In helping the Coyotes to their third straight 5A2 state title, Hughes rushed for 1,600 yards and 31 TDs on 188 carries, caught 19 passes for 298 yards and 4 more scores. On defense he registered 42 tackles, 4 sacks and 2 INTs.

To top that off, Hughes returned 2 kickoffs to the house.

Hughes currently only has an offer from Northern Arizona.

Size seems to be the reason schools are holding back on this diminutive back. He is listed at a generous 5-6 170.

What's your take? Can Hughes be another Maurice Jones-Drew or Darren Sproles and overcme the height obstacle?

Determine that for yourself. See him in senior highlights brought to you first by Scout.com:
