Florida DE has first 3 visits set
"I'm playing in the Dade versus Broward All-Star game this Friday night," Corey Henry said. "We've been practicing for a few days now. We look good. We'll be ready. We got Lamar Miller and Jaamal Berry at running back and a lot of good people on defense. It should be fun." Henry, 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds, will head straight north after the game to begin his first official visit of the year. "I'm going to FAU after the game for the weekend," he said. "That'll be my first visit. Then next weekend I have Marshall scheduled and then the last weekend I have FIU scheduled." While Henry has visits to and offers from those three schools, there's another he's hoping to set something up with as well. "I really wanna visit West Virginia," he said. "I'm trying to get in touch with Coach Doc (Holliday). I gave (former Carol City teammate) Robert Sands my senior tape when he went back to school on Sunday." Henry, who said a coach from Marshall made an in-home visit recently, said he's not ready to name a favorite yet. "I'll see how these visits go, who else stops by the school, and see what happens with West Virginia," he said. He was scheduled to visit Kansas State last month but never made it and now is no longer listing the Wildcats. "They pretty much stopped calling," he said. "I haven't heard from them so I guess I'm off their list."
