Stroffolino Will Play at Penn

Earlier in the year Southern Regional High School middle linebacker Glenn Carson gave a verbal commitment to Penn State and now his teammate to the outside of him in Anthony Stroffolino has decided to pledge to play at the University of Pennsylvania according to his father.

Anthony Stroffolino, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound outside linebacker from Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin, N.J., gave a verbal pledge to play in the Ivy Leagues at Pennsylvania yesterday according to his father.

“Anthony has decided to commit to the University of Pennsylvania,” said his father Joseph Stroffolino III in an email to Scout.com.

Stroffolino claims a 40-yard dash of 4.69, a broad jump of 9-foot-1 and a vertical leap of 27 inches. He maintains a 4.0 core GPA and is in the top nine percent of his class. He also bench presses 320 pounds.
