Williamson High school lineman Terrence Coelman has a definite opinion about James Willis leaving…
Terrence Coleman visits Arkansas
"The visit to Arkansas went pretty good," said Terrence Coleman. "We toured the campus and checked everything out. My host was Damario Ambrose. He is from around here. He showed me everything." "The best part about the trip was going to the Catfish Hole. That place was amazing. I could go back there all the time. It was a lot of fun." Coleman talked in-depth about the weekend trip to Fayetteville. "We went to eat Friday night," he said. "That is when we went to the Catfish Hole. I am not committed to Arkansas, but I am definitely committed to the Catfish Hole. They had the fans there. I felt real comfortable." "We mostly just toured around the campus and went to the mall on Saturday. They have really great facilities. They have great people there who will work with you." "I met with some academic people that day. I went to see the Kinesiology School. They talked about how it was going to be and what classes to take. They were telling me what all I needed to do to get into the school." "We went to the stadium Saturday night. We put on the jerseys and walked out on the field. They turned on the big TV. It felt like a real game day. It was all hyped up. We had a lot of fun out there." "The next day I basically just talked to coach [Bobby] Petrino. He told me I had a really good chance to play early if I came there. I could be a great player for his team. He said they played 17 freshmen last year. They only have five defensive ends. One is leaving and one is a junior." "I really liked spending time with coach [Bobby] Allen. He was teaching me his defense. He said I could play like Elvis Dumervil. I like coach Allen a lot." Coleman remains committed to Aubrun, but he knows a tough decision is on the horizon. "I like Arkansas a lot," he said. "I can get my work done there. It's a place where I can get out of the state and go. I am still committed, but the visit really gave me something to think about." "I talk to coach [Gene] Chizik a good bit. I felt good about my visit there. I got a little crunk down there. He is a great coach. I know when he was at Auburn they had a top defense." "I asked if he would play a role on the defense, and he said he would play a big role. I haven't talked to coach [Tracy] Rocker yet. I am staying with Auburn right now. I am going to look around for a second." Coleman will visit Southern Miss Friday, and travel to Tennessee next week.
