Ventura (Calif.) College quarterback Lee Mondol has decided on his college future.
"I've signed with South Dakota State and will be starting school there this week," said Mondol. "They have an excellent program which is on the rise, are building a new, large sports facility and offer a lot of support for student-athletes."
Mondol prepped at Ventura HS, leading the Cougars to the CIF-SS finals in 2004 and to the semifinals as a senior in 2005. He walked on at Michigan and spent the 2006 season with the Wolverines before transferring home and playing the 2007-2008 seasons at Ventura College.
Now, he'll be back playing college football.
"I took a visit there this weekend and thought the coaching staff was great. I also feel their offense is a good fit for me. My family loved Coach Bailey when he came out to visit us this week."
