The new staff at Eastern Michigan has been working fast, trying to close out strong before Signing Day. Recently, they picked up an instate sleeper with a lot of ability.

Muskegon (Mich.) defensive end Melvin Crews has committed to Eastern Michigan.

The 6'3, 225-lb Crews is a good athlete with good upside potential and recorded three sacks in this year's state title game victory over Warren De La Salle.
