Scout.com caught up with T.J. Boyd to talk about his performance at the US Army All-American Combine.
"I thought that I did well," said the 5-11 running back out of Phoebus High School in Hampton, VA.
"I got an opportunity to play against some really talented kids and I was able to hold my own. In the one on ones, I got open most of the time and caught the ball well. I made the most of the opportunity. It was an honor to be here and I had to show what I am capable of."
After getting his feet wet at one of the most prestigious events in the country, Boyd plans on carrying any momentum gained by this experience into other events.
"I plan on going to a bunch of camps and combine. Anyone that I can get to, I'll be at."
"I know that I am under the radar and I'm going to need as much exposure as I can get. I know I can play. I just need the opportunity to prove myself. All I ask for is an equal shot."
Boyd went on to mention that he favors Miami, Ohio State, Oregon, Clemson, and West Virginia among others.
