Eastern Michigan continues to pick up verbal commitments just before Signing Day, this time, securing one of the west side of the state's top players in South Haven athlete Kelip Goodwin.

South Haven's Kelip Goodwin is the latest memeber of the Eastern Michigan recruiting class.

The 6'2, 185-lb Goodwin has played running back and linebacker in high school, but could also project to wide receiver or linebacker in college.

As a junior, he was an honorable mention All-State selection after rushing for nearly 900 yards and 12 touchdowns. He followed that up with 224 yards and three touchdowns rushing, 29 receptions for 460 yards and five touchdowns on offense as a senior and 64 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions on defense.

He also had interest from Indiana, Michigan State, Wisconsin and others, but the Eagles were his only FBS offer.
