"I've committed to Ole Miss
," stated Ja-Mes Logan
Why did Ole Miss stand-out for the talented Houston product?
"I felt the most comfortable there. I'm going to be able to play back home now (little brother of Nook Logan that plays for the LA Dodgers). I'm originally from Natchez which is about three or four hours from Ole Miss. Now my friends and family can see me play at the next level."
Logan tripped to Oxford on 1/23 and admits that it got his attention.
"My trip to Ole Miss was great. I loved Dexter McCluster
and all the other players. You have to be friends on and off the field. I think that Ole Miss has that. I also loved the coaching staff. I wanted to play for Coach Nutt."
The Westfield product admits that the Rebels first caught his attention during the season.
"I can remember watching them lose a close game and then really turning it on for the rest of the season. Then they beat Texas Tech to death and I knew that something serious was going on. If you watch their offense you see that they run a balanced pro style offense. If you can succeed in the SEC you can succeed anywhere."
So far, Logan has done nothing but succeed. His stats are proof of that.
"I had 40 catches for 843 yards. I ended the season with 13 TDs."
Logan also had offers from Oregon
, Oklahoma State
, Houston, Arizona
