Good news for the Tide
Darrington Sentimore
Posted Feb 2, 2009

Darrington Sentimore, four-star defensive tackle from Destrehan, La., took a weekend visit to LSU. The Tide commitment will go out of state to play his college football. Head Coach Stephen Robicheaux had more to say about Alabama head coach Nick Saban.

"He (Sentimore) is sticking with his commitment to the University of Alabama," Destrehan head coach Stephen Robicheaux said. "He has already let Coach Burns and Coach Saban know."

Darrington Sentimore committed to Alabama last October and will ink with the Tide Wednesday.

"I think there is no doubt that he is going to play with one of the best coaches in the country, and that's intriguing to a lot of players," Robicheaux stated in an earlier interview. "Guys that go on and play with what in my mind is one of the best defensive minds in the country."

"Coach Saban's track record speaks for itself. You can't get too many Louisiana guys to talk good about him, but he's a special human being. We know that, and that's why guys go and play for him."
