Breaking News: Chandler High's Rodney Reagans pulls the trigger

Chandler (Az.) High linebacker Rodney Reagans has informed Scout.com that he has ended his recruitment.

He says, "I committed to Southern Illinois. I chose them because it was just an amazing visit and an awesome opportunity for me. I have been talking to Coach Dosch since May and we have been in contact since then. It really worked out because he is going to be my position coach also."

He adds, "I fit in perfect with their players and their academic support is awesome. They have five people on staff just for football."

Reagans also had offers from Northern Colorado, North Dakota State, Idaho State and Army.

On the year Reagans (6-1 230) tallied 131 tackles and 4.5 sacks.
