Roselle, N.J., athlete Kendall James had several offers to pick from, however today he gave a verbal pledge to the University of Maine according to an email he sent to Scout.com.

Kendall James, a 5-foot-10.5, 170-pound cornerback from Abraham Clark High School ended his recruitment today, picking Maine as his future home.

“I took an official visit to Maine on January 23rd and Stony Brook on January 30th and after thinking about the two schools I committed to Maine today,” James wrote. “It was a tough decision, especially with some bigger programs starting to call now that it’s close to signing day.”
