If you are going to be at the helm of the Kansas offense, you have to be smart, mobile, and most importantly, accurate. You will live off of completions in the short to intermediate range and you have to squeeze footballs in to tight windows while on the move.
I know, it is a hard order to fill. However, Jordan Webb is what the doctor ordered.
Webb, a Missouri native, is an overachieving 6-1/200 pound QB that puts up big numbers. As a senior, Webb threw for over 22 hundred yards and tossed 26 touchdown passes while leading his team to an 11-1 record. You don't become that producive unless you have the ability to throw with precision and have the moxie to improvise when things don't go according to plans and that plays into Webb's strength.
He is a fiery leader that can keep a play alive with his feet while still looking down field for a receiver. Of the two QBs Kansas is taking in the class, I look for Webb to eventually be named the starter.
Good luck Mr. Webb
