Young is a Jayhawk

Midland Regional Manager

Kevin Young, an early enrollee at Kansas, officially becomes a Jayhawk on National Signing Day.

DE Kevin Young had been one of the most talked about recruits in the class because of the twists and turns and ups and downs of his recruitment. Young committed to Kansas then de-committed and committed to Nebraska, before finally deciding to stay at home and committed Kansas again.

After his appearance in the O-D All-American game, Young became an early enrollee at KU and today he signed his national letter of intent. The 6'3", 230 lb, four star, defensive end will add size and speed to the Jayhawk defensive line while also bringing a high motor and great pass rush.

Because Young is already enrolled in school, he will benefit from his ability to participate in spring ball. Young will push for time as a true freshman.

Good luck Mr. Young.
