Jefferson Forest, Va., product Andrew Brown has been hearing from a few schools near his home and was on his way to junior day at Wake Forest when we spoke to him on Sunday afternoon. The linebacker prospect is still in search of his first scholarship offer and he’ll be looking to have a strong spring to get it.

Andrew Brown, a 6-foot-1, 202-pound outside linebacker from Jefferson Forest High School is hearing from a number of regional schools and is also reaching out to his father’s alma mater in recruiting right now.

“I’ve been talking to a few ACC schools and am on my way to junior day at Wake Forest right now,” Brown stated. “I’m also going to check out a practice at Virginia and am hearing from Duke and Richmond as well.”

“My father went to Washington State, so I got in touch with their coaching staff and have had some conversations with them as well,” Brown added. “I like Wake Forest and Virginia a lot right now because they’re both great academic schools. I’m essentially just waiting to see who pulls the trigger at this point as I’ve gotten great feedback from my highlight film.”

Brown attended the Army All-American Combine in San Antonio this January.
