Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame receiver James Flynn, a first team all-state pick in 2008 after he was one of the leading receivers in California, has made his college choice.
"James committed to Lehigh," said his father Matt. "He made his choice based on the college's high academics, playing D-I football and the long tradition of Lehigh."
And Flynn, a prolific receiver, will get to be a part of a pass-friendly offense.
"They also run a no-huddle spread offense, which helped in his decision," said Flynn.
Flynn was ranked #13 by Scout.com in the final West receiver rankings. He set numerous receiving records at Notre Dame, including a senior year where he had 48 catches, 1,112 yards and 19 touchdowns.
