Scouting Aaron Clark

Scouting Aaron Clark

Charlottesville, Va., product Aaron Clark just got his film in to Scout.com and upon viewing it we can see why he is drawing interest from some top-shelf programs. Right now Clark is still waiting on his first offer and from the information we've received Wake Forest could be the first school to pull the trigger.

Aaron Clark, a 5-foot-7, 183-pound running back from S.T.A.B. in Charlottesville, Va., just attended junior day at Wake Forest and is hearing from Duke, Georgia Tech, Nebraska, Virginia, West Virginia and many other schools. We took time today to evaluate him as a player after receiving his film.

Clark has very quick feet and is a smart, instinctive runner. He is a patient back that stays behind his blockers and then has a very shifty style in the open field, showing many ways to make defenders miss him. He also catches the ball extremely well. His low center of gravity allows him to bounce off defenders and while he doesn't fully run behind his pads he does pack a punch for a smaller back. He also shows good balance.
