WVU Offers Royer

Manheim, Pa., product Dakota Royer continues to pile up the offers and yesterday he got another from the Big East when the West Virginia Mountaineers sent him an offer he definitely wasn't expecting.

Manheim Central High School defensive end Dakota Royer picked up yet another offer yesterday from West Virginia. We caught up with the 6-foot-3, 220-pound outside linebacker prospect to talk to him about the Mountaineer program.

"West Virginia offered me yesterday," Royer stated. "I didn't even talk to them and haven't talked to them before, it just came in the mail yesterday along with letters from all of their coaching staff. I'm being recruited by their defensive line coach Bill Kirelawich."

"I've heard it's a great place to play football and I'm definitely interested in finding more out about the school and program. Patrick White played there and was a really fun player to watch. I actually watched their bowl game this year and they looked really good, but other than that I don't know too much about them."
