Ruff Tabs Early Leader
Asian Ruff profile "It was pretty good," said Asian of his Junior day trip. "I like the coaches a lot. My mom and dad went with me. The coaches were telling me they want me to come there and play for. They said I have a chance to come there and start." The newly hired coaching staff appears to have made a very positive impression on the Ruff family. "My parents liked the coaches a lot," said Asian. "My mom really liked the coaches. We all liked the atmosphere down there. They treated me like I was at home and that I was one of their top players." The chance to begin forging a relationship with the coaches that would be coaching him should he elect to join them at Mississippi State is important to Asian. "I asked them about getting on the field and playing for them and things like that," said Ruff. "The DB coaches showed me a lot of attention. Coach Turner showed me a lot of attention too. He is recruiting my area. He was telling me to take the ACT." The IAHS standout had good things to say about his guided tour of the campus. "I like the academic center," said Ruff. "It's real nice. Everything was good there. It was all nice." After taking in Junior Day trips to both Mississippi State and Ole Miss, Ruff is ready to tab an early leader. "Mississippi State is number one with me right now," said Asian. "They were the first school to offer me and they have shown me a lot of attention. I like them a lot right now."
