Georgia LB to UCF

Georgia LB to UCF

Central Florida was the first team to offer and they got a commitment from the linebacker out of North Georgia. He got the offer, took a visit to UCF, and fell in love.

"It was a really good situation,' said Cody Ralston after informing Scout.com of his commitment to UCF Monday night.

"It was an early offer and they really wanted me. I went down there for Junior Day and I was amazed by everything. I liked the campus, the field, the facilities, and I decided to commit early because I love UCF."

Calhoun made it to the AA State Championship game in Georgia in 2008 and now Ralston can turn his attention to the 2009 season with recruiting out of the way.

"I wanted to get recruiting out of the way and focus on my senior season."

"I told me recruiting coach (Coach Key) first that I was committing and then I told Coach O'Leary."

"They seemed real excited."

Ralson is a 6-foot-1 181 pound linebacker.

Chad Simmons is the Recruiting Analyst for the South Region and he can be reached at ChadSimmons@Scout.com.
