Purdue Still In The Hunt

Texas QB Bill Foran has put up some solid numbers the past three seasons. Foran has been offered by Purdue and he seems like a perfect fit for the Boilermaker offensive system. Georgia Tech and several others are still in the picture.

“I visited Georgia Tech (12-20) before Christmas and I had a good time,” said quarterback, Bill Foran. “I don’t know if I’m going to visit Virginia Tech (1-18).

“I’ve already been to Purdue (11-9) and I’m going to Harvard (1-3) and Princeton (1-10) in January.

“I’m still interested in Texas A&M, Stanford and Arizona. I might use my last visit on one of those three schools. I’m very serious about the Ivy Leagues.

Foran, a 6-foot-3, 210-pounder, from Dallas (Texas) Highland Park passed for 1,950 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2002. He also had 1,100 yards rushing and 22 touchdowns on the ground.
