JUCO DE Picks Up Two Offers

In the JuCo world a prospect graduating in December must start recruiting early. That's exactly what Josh Tillman is doing. In Tillman's mind, there is no time to waste. Go inside to learn more about the talented DE.

"Last year went good," stated Josh Tillman. "JuCo is similar to high school; it's just a little faster. I thought I adjusted really good."

What were the Copiah-Lincoln DE's stats for the 2008 season?

"I had 70 tackles and 11 sacks. I got some first team all-JuCo awards but I don't remember the specifics."

Who has offered Tillman?

"I have offers from Ole Miss and Southern Miss."

How does the JuCo All-star feel about those schools?

"I know I can go to USM and make an impact. I like the thought of being able to play early. I like that Ole Miss will be ranked in the nation and that they put a lot of DL in the NFL. They have some that will go in the first round."

Who else is Tillman hearing from?

"I'm also hearing a lot from LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Florida State, Louisville, and UCF. They are all coming after me pretty hard but Louisville sends me letters every day."

Tillman knows that he doesn't have long to visit schools. Between his season and his plans to graduate in December, Tillman is ready to get the visits rolling.

"I'm going to start setting up unofficial visits as soon as I can. I know I want to take one official visit to Central Florida. They have been working me hard to take one. As soon as I can take official visits, I will start. I want to make sure I make the right decision since I'm graduating in December."
