Manheim Central High School athlete Justin Gorman had to take over the reigns at quarterback early last season and was extremely productive, leading his team to the state playoffs. For such a raw prospect he shows a lot of promise and has that toughness that teammates respect.

Justin Gorman has been getting looks from Maryland, Navy, Temple, Colorado and Virginia and the 6-foot, 170-pound signal caller will most likely open some eyes in camps this summer with his dual-threat ability and leadership qualities.

Gorman moved to quarterback from receiver as a junior and proved to be the better quarterback. He’s a tough kid who isn’t afraid to stand in the pocket and take a hit. He shows poise and pocket presence and can make plays with his feet, either buying receivers time or running. He is most effective on short or intermediate passes, however his deep ball and mechanics could both use work. One thing Gorman does have is “it”.
