The Scout.com Combine Series went through south Florida on Saturday morning, as many of the area's top prospects worked at at Dade Christian High School.

The quarterback group was strong. Some of them waited until after the testing drills before they started throwing during the 1-on-1 drills. The most impressive passer there was Jupiter Christian's Marshyl Rothman, who has been impressive every time we've watched him this offseason. He might be short to be considered a major college prospect but the kid throws a beautiful ball and he was on point again today. Several schools are talking to him and we wouldn't be surprised if many of them pull the offer trigger over the next two months as more and more schools will see him throw in person.

Cardinal Gibbons standout Chris Rapka (6-foot-3 and 194 pounds) has a live arm and looked good throwing the ball. Gulliver's Michael Strauss already has a few offers and you could see why by the way he tossed it around on Saturday.

Archbishop Carroll's Jeff Scott might only be 5-foot-8 but the kid ran the fastest 40-time of the day and looked outstanding during drills. He's an exciting player coming out of the backfield and should continue landing more and more offers as the spring continues.

Wide receiver Chris Dunkley is pushing hard to become a five-star player on Scout this summer and he looked great again on Saturday, playing on both sides of the ball. His speed, explosoveness, and athleticism are all off the charts and well documented but the best part might be the way he competes. He's always looking to compete with anyone, anywhere.

Tight end Jacob Wheeler is 6-foot-7 and almost 240 pounds and the American Heritage standout caught everything thrown his direction. The younger brother of Jared Wheeler, who just signed with Miami, Jacob is getting plenty of looks and you could see why Saturday.

The line coaches at the event pointed out Western's Jonathan Feliciano as the top performer among the big guys. At 6-foot-4 and 285 pounds, he is built well and really gets after it on the field.

There were many other standout performers that we'll be talking about throughout the week as well. Stay tuned for later in the week when we post our All-Combine Team, the combine resuilts, a recruiting notebook from the event, and much more.

Thanks to all the players and coaches involved who helped make this a successful event in south Florida on Saturday.
