Samammish (Wash.) Skyline QB Jake Heaps was recently named as Scout.com's No. 1 quarterback prospect for the class of 2010, and with 23 scholarship offers, it was easy to see why. Number 24 came Wednesday night, and with it came news that Heaps was ready to make some changes to his list of top schools.

"I just got off the phone with (Oklahoma quarterbacks) coach (Josh) Heupel, and Oklahoma offered me," Heaps told Scout.com. "I'm really excited about the Oklahoma offer. I've been talking to the Oklahoma coaches since my sophomore year and it's a prestigious school and has been really successful this last little bit. I also run a version of what they do, so I know I could be successful there."

With the Sooners stepping up with an offer, Heaps admitted that his top-10 has gone through some tweaking. Not ready to talk about each individual school yet, he was nice enough to allow us to print his revised list. Here it is (in alphabetical order):

1. Alabama
2. BYU
3. California
4. Florida State
5. Georgia
6. LSU
7. Notre Dame
8. Oklahoma
9. Tennessee
10. Washington

So when will Heaps narrow things down? "It could happen in the near future," he said.
