He was once committed toEatern Michigan, then Ole Miss and then it was Utah, now Dudley LaPorte has found another new home at Florida International.

Santa Barbara (Cal.) City College four-star tight end Dudley LaPorte has finally signed with an FBS program.

According to our sources, the former New Berlin (N.Y.) Milford Academy prospect who had once committed to Ole Miss, then Utah has now found a home as he has signed on to play with Florida International. LaPorte has bounced around a bit since his senior year at Stratford High in Connecticut way back in 2004. He prepped at Stratford and Milford and originally signed with Eastern Michigan back in 2006, prior to enrolling at Santa Barbara.

LaPorte, 6-foot-3, 240-pounds was the nation's leading junior college tight end in receptions (30), yards (500) and touchdowns (4) in 2007. He earned first-team all-Western Conference honors. For his career he averaged 16.7 yards per catch and 55.6 yards per game for Santa Barbara City College
