Beaumont (Calif.) defensive back Femi Odaibo (6-1, 183), is seeing his recruitment start to pick up of late.
Several schools have been in contact with Odaibo, who's waiting for his first offer.
"I've been getting a lot of mail from Nebraska, from Coach (Ted) Gilmore," said Odaibo. "They want me to visit for the Red & White Game."
And the Huskers aren't the only ones.
"San Diego State liked my highlight tape so I am keeping in contact with them," said Odaibo. "And I sent my tape to UTEP. So it's starting to pick up."
Odaibo plays on both sides of the ball, and the interest is coming for both sides.
"They are looking at me as a safety but some schools are looking for me to play offense," said Odaibo.
Odaibo said seven schools are standing out for him.
"Nebraska, UTEP, Washington State, Washington, Oregon State, Louisville and San Diego State," said Odaibo.
As far as camps are concerned, Odaibo attended the Badger/Scout 7on7 Passing Tournament earlier this month and in May, he'll be at the Scout.com Combine in Los Angeles.
As a junior at Beaumont, Odaibo had 55 tackles, six interceptions, four forced fumbles, three recoveries and two touchdowns from his defensive back spot and offensively, had 39 receptions for 605 yards and seven touchdowns.
