Miami Pelmetto center is gaining attention

The 6' 3", 230 pound center knows he needs to get bigger for the next level, but even at this size, he has been able to flourish playing against some of the best competition in the Miami surrounding area.

"I was named OL of the Year last year at Miami Palmetto," added Ronald Regula. "I also made All-Dade."

What has given him the edge over his opponents?

"I have got to beat them mentally, being my size. I get there faster than them. We are a lot about techniques, and I have really good technique."

What are Regula's goals this offseason?

"I want to be the best OL at school and exceed everything I have done in the weight room and put up some huge numbers in the gym. I want to be the strongest person at our school."

Three colleges are showing the most interest.

"Ole Miss, Boston College, and Indiana are showing me the most interest right now."

Ronald expands on the three.

Ole Miss - "I really like their coaches. Coach Vauhn told me he is coming to see my spring game. I went up there for Jr Day and learned about their facilities and how they keep all of their athletes in good academic standing. They keep you in the best physical condition you can be."

Boston College - "I have just been getting a lot of letters. They asked me for some video so I sent it to them. I am waiting to hear back from their evaluation."

Indiana -
"They have been sending me a lot of letters and have invited me to their camps. I will probably go up there for a camp. I am going to Boston College, Rutgers, Florida, and probably Indiana for camps this summer."

Ronald reports a 3.1 Core GPA and a 890 SAT under the old scoring format. Recommended Stories
