Ruff Sets Spring Game Plans
Asian Ruff profile "I don't have any new offers," said Asian. "Georgia Tech has been showing a lot of interest. I didn't make their junior day. I just couldn't make it. I am going over to Alabama this Saturday for their spring game." With a pair of options to consider, Ruff is pretty happy with the standing of his college recruitment. "I feel pretty confident about everything," said Ruff. "We start spring football in two weeks. My teammates are real glad for me. I was the first one in our senior class to get an offer, so they were all real happy for me." Itawamba has emerged as one of the top teams in their classification. This year could be the year the folks in Fulton have been waiting for. "We need to play better on defense," said Ruff of his team's room for improvement. "We need to tackle better and we need to catch the ball better on offense. We have a good quarterback, so we should be pretty good on offense." With just a few weeks left in his junior year, Ruff reports that his early leader, Mississippi State, remains in the lead. "State is still the leader," said Asian. "I haven't talked them in a couple of weeks. I have been been going to the hospital to see about my grandfather. He's doing better now. My family is real important to me, so I needed to see about him."
