Cuse Makes Two for Dieffenbach
Pittsburgh (Pa.) Fox Chapel guard Miles Dieffenbach has held a scholarship offer from Pittsburgh since September. One would think that a lineman with all the tools would have double digit offers by now. He is the son of Pitt tennis coach George Dieffenbach, so that could explain why some schools are shying away. Dieffenbach maintains that he is open to all options, but he just recently picked up offer number two. "I just wanted to let you know that I got another scholarship offer," Dieffenbach said. "Syracuse sent me a written offer. "It was great news getting that second offer" Dieffenbach continued. "Syracuse is a very history rich program and I will be visiting their campus this weekend for the Spring game, so I can learn more about their program." Dieffenbach, is currently ranked as the No. 5 offensive guard in the country and is a four-star prospect according to Scout.com. At the Scout.com Combine in Pittsburgh, Dieffenbach checked in at 6-foot-4 and 277-pounds. He has also garnered interest from Notre Dame, Colorado, Wisconsin and a number of other programs.
