Linebacker Waiting On Test Score

Reggie Smith says he'll sign with Ohio State in February but he'll need to qualify first.

“Yes, I’m committed to Ohio State,” said linebacker Reggie Smith.

“I sat down with my mom and we talked everything over. My mom didn’t want me to go too far away from home and when Ohio State offered me a scholarship everything seemed to fit.

“I’m waiting on my test score and when I qualify, everything will be official.”

Shaw, a 6-foot-2, 235-pounder, from East Cleveland (Ohio) Shaw was named 1st team all-state by the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.

Shaw set a school record with 20 sacks in 2002.
