Linebacker was the strongest position at the Scout.com Alabama Camp and three of them made the top…
C.J. Mosley visits Tuscaloosa, camp performer
"The camp Sunday went pretty good," said C.J. Mosley. "I did real good in the individual drills and work outs. It was an elite camp. I thought everyone showed their talent out there." Mosley is heavily recruited by a number of programs including Alabama. He talked about the visit to the Capstone. "The visit to Alabama went really good," he said. "I talked to coach Willis. He told me what kind of defense they run. I could fit in as a 'Will' or middle linebacker. I could have a lot of playing time because they use a lot of linebackers." "I watched how the linebackers were reading and stepping up. I kept a look on Dont'a Hightower and Rolando McClain. They did pretty good. The atmosphere was real good. For A-Day it was really packed." "I talked to coach Willis for a while. We went to the position meeting before the game. I talked to the outside linebackers coach [Sal Sunseri]. He told us what kind of plays they run, and what kind of technique we could use against offensive linemen." "Every time I go up there they get more excited about it. Alabama is a great place. I talked to coach Willis. He said I will have a great chance to play as one of their four linebackers in the 3-4 defense. I could play two or three positions." Mosley does not have any other visits scheduled. He continues to add more offers from major programs. "Florida State called me yesterday," he said. "I talked to coach [Rick] Trickett. He said they were going to send me a scholarship offer. I was offered the other day by Ole Miss as well." "Ole Miss has been sending letters for a while. Florida State came out of the blue. I always watch Florida State. I think I will try to check out those schools since they are close." Mosley remains open with all schools.
